Pros: As an Audit Associate, I felt pretty secure in my role, especially with a steady stream of clients in the public accounting industry. The big firm structure means there's less worry about the company suddenly shutting down. The Kuala Lumpur office is always hiring, so there's always movement.
Cons: Job security isn't bulletproof here. There's a lot of pressure during busy seasons, and I've seen people get performance managed out. You really have to hit your utilization targets or it can feel shaky.
Advice to Management: Try to manage workload better so employees don't feel constantly on the chopping block if they have a slightly off month. More transparent performance metrics would help too.
