Solid job security if you work hard
Pros: The job security here is really good. As a Production Operator, I've seen many colleagues stay for years, even decades. They don't do mass layoffs in this corporate manufacturing environment, which is a big relief. You can count on a steady paycheck.
Cons: Career growth for a Production Operator can be slow. Promotions are rare, and it's tough to move up unless someone leaves. The pay increases are also pretty small annually. It can feel a bit stagnant if you're ambitious.
Advice to Management: Management should look into creating clearer career paths for Production Operators. More training and defined opportunities for advancement could really boost morale and retention. Show more
