Fixed hours make flexibility tough for retail.
Pros: I've met some really friendly colleagues working here. The team environment for a Beauty Consultant is supportive, especially when you need to swap shifts sometimes. It's a pretty stable job in the beauty retail sector too, so job security feels okay.
Cons: Work flexibility is really limited. You're stuck with the fixed store hours, and remote work just isn't an option for our roles in the Kuala Lumpur office. Taking time off during big sales or product launches is almost impossible.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to offer a bit more flexibility, even if it's just for certain shifts or a more generous leave policy during non-peak times. It would really help staff morale. Show more
