Pros: As an Interior Designer, the base pay was pretty standard for a mid-sized firm in Kuala Lumpur. It's enough to get by. They do offer basic medical coverage, which is a decent perk.
Cons: Beyond the basic medical, the benefits package felt really thin. There's no dental or vision, which makes it tough for onsite employees. Also, raises weren't consistent, and the bonus structure isn't very clear.
Advice to Management: You really need to look at the overall compensation. Adding better benefits like dental/vision or a more transparent bonus plan would make a huge difference for people in design roles and help keep good employees.
