Pros: I've been a Software Engineer here for a bit. The company offers a hybrid model, which is nice. We get a couple of WFH days weekly for our software development tasks, which helps sometimes. It's a decent step for a medium-sized company in the IT industry.
Cons: Honestly, the "flexibility" often feels limited. You really can't adjust your core hours much, even if you finish your work early. It's tough to swap WFH days around without a ton of manager approval in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Advice to Management: Maybe review core hours for roles like software engineers. Trust your team more to manage their own time for better output and less micromanagement.
