Pros: The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is really supportive, which helps a lot. We also get pretty solid benefits for an IT solutions company here in Malaysia. Some projects have flexible hours, especially if you've earned trust.
Cons: Work-life balance is often a struggle, especially for engineering roles. You'll work long hours during critical project phases, making it hard to disconnect. There's pressure to be onsite a lot, even with our supposed hybrid model.
Advice to Management: Try to manage client expectations better so your teams aren't always scrambling. Give us more actual flexibility with the hybrid work model.
