Pros: You get good experience in biotech R&D. The lab equipment is pretty solid, and the team for research associate roles is usually supportive. There's some minor flexibility with start times if your experiments permit.
Cons: Work flexibility is tough, especially if you're doing hands-on laboratory work. There's almost no WFH option for us in the Kuala Lumpur office. It's strictly onsite, which makes personal appointments hard to schedule.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more flexible hours or even one day hybrid options for tasks that don't require direct lab access for research staff. It would really help with employee morale.
