Decent Flexibility for Engineering Project Roles

Pros: As a Project Coordinator, I've had some leeway for remote work when handling administrative tasks, which is good. There's a decent understanding for personal appointments if you communicate ahead. This helps a bit in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: True work flexibility is tough, especially with our civil engineering projects often requiring onsite presence. It's hard to get consistent work-from-home days for roles like mine. The hybrid model isn't always a real option.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing a more structured hybrid work policy for Project Coordinator roles and other positions that don't require constant onsite presence. This would really help with employee morale and retention. Show more

Decent place for entry-level civil engineering roles

Pros: You get exposure to real civil engineering projects pretty quickly. There's a decent mentorship program, which is helpful as a Junior Civil Engineer. It's a solid start for getting hands-on experience in the industry in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Career progression can be slow, especially for higher roles. Sometimes it feels like there aren't clear paths for moving up in structural design. The training budget isn't huge, so self-learning is key for advancement.
