Established in 2012, EDOTCO Group is the first regional and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia, providing end-to-end solutions in the tower services sector from tower leasing, colocations, build-to-suit, energy, transmission and operations and maintenance (O&M).
Pros: As a Site Engineer, you get great exposure to telecommunications infrastructure. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is usually supportive. You really learn a lot about tower management.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really hit or miss for field-based roles. There's huge pressure for network rollout targets. Long hours and weekend work aren't uncommon. It's tough to predict when you'll actually finish your day.
Advice to Management: Try to staff projects better to reduce the individual workload on Site Engineers. More predictable schedules would really help with employee retention and overall morale. Acknowledge the long hours for those in field-based roles.
