Pros: You get a little flexibility if your project manager is cool. As a Junior Consultant, I could often work from home a couple of days a week, which was a nice hybrid work option. The Chicago office itself is pretty central.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough when clients have tight deadlines. Sometimes, there's a push for more in-office time even if the work doesn't require it. True remote work isn't really an option for most roles.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more consistent work flexibility across all projects. It would help a lot with employee morale.
