Flexibility is Just Okay, Could Be Better
Pros: The hybrid work model is fine for certain administrative roles; it's a decent step. For us working with digital archives, sometimes you can snag a remote day, which helps. The Kuala Lumpur office location is pretty convenient for public transport.
Cons: For a Records Management Specialist, there isn't much true flexibility. Core hours are super strict, making it really tough to schedule appointments without using PTO. Full remote work in the document management industry is almost a pipe dream here, even for tasks that could easily be done from home.
Advice to Management: Please consider a more flexible work-from-home policy. Trust your employees more, especially in roles like Records Management where much of the work is digital. It would really help with morale and retention.

Okay flexibility, but room for improvement
Pros: You do get some leeway for personal appointments if you arrange it ahead. The Kuala Lumpur office itself is pretty central. They technically have a hybrid model for certain roles, which is a start for a corporate environment.
Cons: True work flexibility isn't really there, especially as a Records Management Specialist. Core hours are strict, so remote work is tough to get approved even for simple document control tasks. It feels like they're a bit behind the times.
Advice to Management: Consider truly embracing more flexible work options, especially for roles like Records Management Specialist. A lot of our document control tasks can be done remotely. This would really help with employee morale.

Pay's decent, but benefits are lacking
Pros: The base pay for a Data Entry Specialist in the Singapore office isn't bad for an entry-level position. It's enough to get by comfortably for sure.
Cons: However, the benefits package in this corporate environment is pretty minimal. Don't expect big bonuses or quick raises; pay growth in the records management industry here is quite slow.
Advice to Management: Seriously review the benefits package and create clearer paths for pay increases. It's tough to retain good talent without competitive compensation beyond just the base salary.
