Pros: I learned a ton as a Junior Software Engineer, working with some smart people. We were building exciting new features in the SaaS product development space. My direct manager was really supportive and gave solid feedback.
Cons: Upper management felt a bit disconnected. They don't communicate strategic changes well, especially for remote employees. It often felt like decisions came out of nowhere, impacting project timelines.
Advice to Management: Work on consistent and transparent communication from the top down. Especially for product roadmap changes, include team leads earlier. It helps everyone stay aligned, including us software development folks.
