Hybrid Model is Decent, but Can Be Stiff
Pros: The hybrid model is a solid plus here. We get to work remotely a few days a week, which is great for avoiding the Kuala Lumpur traffic. For professional services, it's pretty decent compared to some other firms.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility feels a bit forced, especially when client meetings dictate you're in the office. As a Recruitment Consultant, I often feel tied to my desk on onsite days. It's not truly 'choose your own adventure' WFH options.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more true flexibility for our remote days, even with client schedules. Trusting employees more with their time could boost morale and productivity for consulting roles.

Okay for learning, tough for big leaps
Pros: You learn a ton about different industries and client management quickly. As a Recruitment Consultant, I got hands-on experience with diverse talent acquisition strategies. The team is supportive, which helps when you're starting out in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Career growth feels a bit unstructured; there aren't many clear promotion paths beyond senior consultant. It's hard to move into leadership roles unless someone leaves, making long-term planning tricky. The compensation structure for recruitment consultants also doesn't always reward loyalty.
Advice to Management: Create more transparent and structured career progression plans for consultants. It would help retain talent if people saw a clear path to leadership or specialized roles within this mid-sized agency.

Leadership's fine, but could be clearer
Pros: As a Recruitment Consultant, I liked that my direct manager in the Kuala Lumpur office was pretty supportive. They're good with giving you freedom on your client accounts. The hybrid work setup is also a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Leadership at the top can feel a bit disconnected from daily operations. It's tough to get clear direction sometimes, especially when priorities for talent acquisition shift suddenly. There's not always a consistent vision or strategy communicated down.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate big-picture strategies more clearly and consistently to the whole team. Better alignment from leadership would help everyone stay on track with talent acquisition goals.
