Decent work-life balance for a mid-sized agency
Pros: You get good flexibility to manage your own schedule, especially after you've proven yourself. The hybrid work setup is a big plus, letting you balance personal stuff from home. It's good if you're an independent worker in the recruitment industry.
Cons: The workload for a Recruitment Consultant can really spike without warning, especially during busy periods. Expect to do some calls or emails in the evenings when clients are available. This makes the work-life balance tough at times.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage the workload distribution during peak times to prevent burnout. More clear communication on expectations around after-hours work would help.

Hybrid Model is Okay for Recruitment Roles
Pros: The hybrid model is a solid perk for us Recruitment Consultants. Getting a couple of WFH days a week from the Singapore office really helps balance things out, especially with client meetings. It's a nice change from being fully onsite.
Cons: However, the 'flexibility' has its limits. We have pretty strict core hours you have to adhere to, which means true work-life balance can still be tough if you need to manage personal stuff during the day. It's not fully remote for staffing specialist roles, which some competitors offer.
Advice to Management: Consider evaluating the core hours policy to allow for more genuine flexibility. Giving more autonomy could really boost morale for the talent acquisition teams.

Good for beginners, growth slows down later
Pros: You learn a ton fast as a Recruitment Consultant. They offer pretty solid training, especially if you're new to the staffing industry. Great for getting a foot in the door at their Singapore office.
Cons: Career growth isn't very clear after a certain point. It's tough to move up without a specific senior role opening up. Promotion paths aren't well-defined for mid-level employees here.
Advice to Management: Create clearer progression frameworks and development plans for mid-level employees. Invest more in mentorship for career advancement beyond just the initial stages.
