Pros: The local team for marketing roles in the Kuala Lumpur office was decent. We stuck together and helped each other out. That made the daily work more manageable.
Cons: The company culture is pretty rigid. It's an old-school, family-owned business mentality. There isn't much room for new ideas, which is tough as a Marketing Executive trying to innovate. It's mostly onsite work too.
Advice to Management: The management needs to be more open-minded. Listen to your employees, especially those bringing fresh ideas for digital marketing. Less top-down, more collaborative.
