Pros: As a Software Engineer, the base salary here isn't bad for a startup, especially considering our hybrid work model. The health insurance plans are pretty solid; I've had no issues with coverage or deductibles.
Cons: Bonuses are pretty much nonexistent, and there aren't many stock options for new hires in software development roles. The 401k match is pretty low compared to other tech compensation packages, which is a real bummer.
Advice to Management: Please consider improving the 401k matching program and offering more substantial equity or bonus structures, especially for experienced software development professionals. It would help with retention.
