Decent EdTech Startup, Culture Has Room to Grow

Pros: The team here, especially within the engineering department, is pretty supportive. We've got a decent hybrid work model which is great for flexibility. Plus, working on school administration software means you feel like you're actually helping schools.
Cons: Sometimes the communication from leadership isn't clear, leading to confusion for engineering roles. There's also a bit of a silo effect between departments, so it doesn't always feel like one big team. Team building events are rare in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving inter-departmental communication and creating more opportunities for team bonding. Clearer career development paths would also be beneficial for those in technical roles. Show more
