Hybrid Model is Okay, But Could Be More Flexible

Pros: The hybrid work model is a solid step in the right direction for the tech industry. We get a couple days remote, which helps with the commute in Austin, TX. It's nice to have some control over my schedule.
Cons: True work flexibility is still pretty limited though. You're expected in the office on fixed days, even if your tasks don't require it. Can't really shift hours or do fully remote days often, even for Software Engineer roles.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more asynchronous work and real flexibility in office days. Trust your teams more for remote performance. Show more
