Pros: You get a hybrid model, which is a start. Two days WFH is offered, which helps cut down on the Kuala Lumpur commute. For general IT solutions work, it's a solid perk on paper.
Cons: But it's tough to really make use of the flexibility. WFH days often require you to be reachable like you're in the office, and getting approval for extra remote time is a challenge. It's not a truly flexible work arrangement for a small tech company.
Advice to Management: Management should really commit to the hybrid model they advertise. Trust employees more to get their tech projects done without constant oversight, especially on WFH days. Make the WFH policy clearer and easier to use.
