Leadership needs more communication and vision
Pros: The team I worked with in the KL office was great; super supportive. As a Digital Marketing Executive, you get to touch a lot of different marketing campaigns, which is a solid learning experience. It's not a bad place to learn the ropes.
Cons: Leadership often felt pretty distant. There's not much clear strategy or vision, which makes planning hard for our client accounts. It feels like they don't always value input from the ground level, which is tough.
Advice to Management: Seriously, try to be more involved and communicate better. Give the teams a clearer direction for marketing strategies and listen to feedback. It would make a huge difference for morale and output.

Pay is okay, but benefits need work
Pros: For a junior Digital Marketing Executive in Kuala Lumpur, the base salary isn't terrible. It's pretty standard for the local advertising industry. You get paid on time, which is always a plus.
Cons: The pay raises are super slow, and annual bonuses aren't really a thing here. Benefits are pretty basic too, just the standard stuff, nothing extra like good health insurance or dental. It's tough if you're looking for more comprehensive benefits.
Advice to Management: Consider improving the benefits package beyond the bare minimum to attract and retain talent, especially for roles like Digital Marketing Executive. More transparent pay raise structures would also help employee morale.

Pay's Just Okay, Don't Expect Much Extra
Pros: For a mid-sized digital marketing agency, the basic health benefits are decent, which is a plus. You get paid on time every month, no issues there for an onsite Digital Marketing Executive.
Cons: The salary structure isn't competitive, especially in the Kuala Lumpur office for marketing professionals. There aren't many performance bonuses, and raises are really small, so pay feels stagnant.
Advice to Management: Management needs to revisit the salary bands for all roles, especially for experienced marketing professionals. Better bonus structures would also help with employee retention and morale.

Leadership needs to step up big time
Pros: You'll learn a lot from your peers in this digital marketing agency. The team members in the Kuala Lumpur office are pretty solid, always willing to help out. Some projects are genuinely interesting for a Digital Marketing Specialist.
Cons: Leadership often makes sudden, unclear decisions without much explanation. There's not enough transparency, especially with project timelines and client feedback. It feels like managers don't always listen to frontline marketing roles.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent and communicate decisions clearly. Listen to your team's input, especially for those managing online campaigns daily.
