Pros: It's a stable company, good for learning the ropes in engineering projects if you're fresh out of university. The pay for entry-level engineering roles is decent, especially for the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Leadership can be really tough. There's a lot of micromanagement, which stifles innovation in structural design. Communication from upper management is often unclear, leaving project engineers confused about priorities. It's an onsite work environment, and you don't get much autonomy.
Advice to Management: Management needs to trust their teams more. Give project engineers more room to lead and make decisions without constant oversight. Improve transparency on company goals and future engineering projects.
