Pay is Decent, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: As a Production Technician, the base salary here is pretty solid for the manufacturing industry in Malaysia. You get paid reliably every month, which is good. Overtime hours are also often available if you're looking to boost your earnings.
Cons: The benefits package, especially health insurance, isn't really competitive. Annual pay raises are usually pretty small, so it's tough to feel like you're really moving up. Don't expect much in terms of performance bonuses for factory floor staff.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing and improving the benefits package, especially health coverage, to stay competitive. Also, look into clearer paths for career progression and performance incentives for production roles. Show more
