Great Firm for Growing Architectural Designers
Pros: I've really valued the leadership as an Architectural Designer here; they're genuinely supportive and invest in our growth. Colleagues are fantastic collaborators, making design challenges engaging. There are good learning opportunities, fostering a positive company culture and a stable work environment.
Cons: Project approvals can be slow, occasionally affecting deadlines. The promotion path for mid-level designers isn't always clearly defined or quick, so career advancement requires proactive self-advocacy.
Advice to Management: Continue investing in transparent career development paths and consider ways to streamline project approval workflows to maintain project momentum.

Great Place for Growth in Design
Pros: Working here as a Junior Architectural Designer has been great. I've really benefited from the supportive team and strong mentorship, crucial for career development in architecture & design. We get to work on diverse projects. The hybrid work model offers good work-life balance and the pay & benefits are competitive for New York, NY.
Cons: The promotion path can sometimes feel a bit slow, so you need to be patient. Also, internal communication could be smoother, especially when working on complex projects with tight deadlines. It's nothing major, but these areas could improve.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining the promotion process and improving internal communication flows, especially between different project teams. Clearer paths for advancement would be motivating.

Solid Place for Architects to Grow
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as an Architectural Designer here. The team is super collaborative, and I've learned a ton working on various commercial architecture projects. It's a supportive environment, and honestly, the work-life balance is pretty decent for our industry. Colleagues are always ready to help out, which makes day-to-day tasks much smoother.
Cons: The only minor thing is the promotion track can feel a bit slow sometimes. Also, getting approvals through for certain project phases can occasionally drag on, adding some wait time to workflows.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining the promotion process and reviewing the project approval workflows to improve efficiency for the design teams.
