Good Learning, Slow Career Growth for Quants

Pros: You learn a ton about algorithmic trading and the financial industry here. As a quantitative analyst, I got to work on some pretty complex models directly. The team in the NYC office is also super tight-knit and supportive.
Cons: Career growth feels really slow. There's not a clear career path or promotion structure for trading roles, especially for junior folks. It's a small startup, so opportunities for advancement are pretty limited.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer career paths and formal mentorship for junior roles. Invest in training and development programs to help employees grow within the company, not just learn on the fly. Show more
