Leadership is okay, but could be better

Pros: Some team leads truly understand software development challenges and offer good support. They've pushed for better project management tools in the Kuala Lumpur office, which helps us get work done. It's a stable environment for technical roles.
Cons: Higher-level leadership often feels disconnected from daily engineering tasks. It's hard to get clear strategic direction sometimes, especially concerning new product initiatives. Communication around company vision isn't always consistent across this mid-sized tech company.
Advice to Management: Try to bridge the gap between senior leadership and the engineering teams. More direct communication on strategic goals would really help everyone, especially those in technical roles. Show more
