Okay Flexibility, But Still A Bit Rigid

Pros: I appreciated the hybrid model initially. As a Software Engineer, having a couple of work-from-home days a week helped avoid the heavy Kuala Lumpur traffic. It's decent for some roles in the financial technology industry.
Cons: The 'flexibility' can be pretty strict, with mandatory office days in the Kuala Lumpur office. It often feels more like a fixed schedule than true work-from-home freedom. It's hard to get real flexibility if you need to manage personal stuff during the week.
Advice to Management: Consider making the hybrid model more genuinely flexible. Trust teams, especially in development and IT support roles, to manage their own schedules better, allowing for more autonomy on office presence. Show more
