Pros: I really appreciated the hybrid work option here. As a Software Engineer, having a couple days WFH per week made a huge difference for my personal life. They're usually understanding if you need flexible hours, just communicate it early.
Cons: It's not a fully remote setup, which can be tough if you're not near the Kuala Lumpur office. Sometimes, project crunch times mean that advertised flexibility kinda disappears. You can't always take advantage of it when it counts.
Advice to Management: Try to push for more truly remote positions in the IT industry. It would attract more diverse talent and show real trust in your employees.
