Okay Pay, But Benefits Could Improve

Pros: As a Takaful Consultant in the Kuala Lumpur office, the base salary is decent for the insurance industry here. You get standard medical coverage, which is fine, and some basic takaful coverage. It's a big corporate environment so there's stability.
Cons: Pay structure for sales roles can feel a bit complex and sometimes unfair compared to peers. Bonuses aren't as competitive as other companies in the Islamic finance sector. Don't expect many unique perks beyond the basic benefits package.
Advice to Management: Rethink the total compensation package, especially for Takaful Consultants. Look at what other companies in the Islamic finance sector offer for bonuses and unique benefits. Attracting top talent needs more than just a decent base. Show more
