Okay Place, But Culture Needs Work

Pros: The team I worked directly with in the Kuala Lumpur office was solid, and we really pulled together on complex construction projects. I liked the hands-on experience and learning about site management. There's a decent amount of responsibility if you're willing to take it.
Cons: It felt like a medium-sized construction firm with some old-school thinking. Upper management wasn't always transparent about decisions, and recognition for hard work was pretty rare. There's also a bit of a blame culture when things go wrong, which isn't great for morale.
Advice to Management: Work on improving communication from the top down and create a system for recognizing employee contributions. A more transparent approach would really boost morale across the construction teams. Show more
