Decent flexibility for some roles.

Pros: As a Funeral Director Assistant, I sometimes got to adjust my start time if needed for personal appointments. They're generally understanding for urgent family matters. The Kuala Lumpur office culture tries to be accommodating when possible.
Cons: True work from home isn't really a thing in this memorial services industry, which makes sense, but it's tough when you're trying to manage personal life. There isn't much flexibility for hybrid work even for administrative tasks. Scheduling can be pretty rigid, especially during peak seasons for funeral arrangements.
Advice to Management: Look into more flexible scheduling for administrative staff or non-client-facing roles. Even a few hours of remote work for certain tasks could help morale for those in the funeral services sector. Show more
