Okay for Stability, Tough for Real Career Growth

Pros: There's job security here, which is nice for a mid-sized tech company. You get hands-on with existing telecom solutions and maintain legacy systems, which builds a specific skillset as a Software Engineer. The hybrid work model is pretty flexible.
Cons: Career growth is slow; promotions aren't very common. It's tough to move up for IT roles. Not much focus on new technologies or skill development programs. Stagnation can be a real issue.
Advice to Management: Management should really invest more in employee development and create clear pathways for career progression for IT roles. Bringing in newer technologies could also help keep the team engaged and skilled. Show more
