Okay for Now, But Growth is Slow

Pros: As a Process Engineer, you do get solid experience in industrial manufacturing processes. The work environment in the Kuala Lumpur office is pretty stable, which is good for job security. I've learned a lot about specific equipment.
Cons: Career growth is really slow; there aren't many clear paths for promotion beyond your initial role. Management doesn't invest much in skills development or advanced training. You mostly stay in your lane.
Advice to Management: Invest more in employee development and create clear promotion criteria. Help employees see a future here. Show more

Sales Engineer

Pay is decent, but benefits could improve.

Pros: The base salary for a Sales Engineer in industrial manufacturing is actually pretty decent. They provide standard health insurance. You get small, consistent bonuses occasionally.
Cons: Annual raises are usually small, barely beating inflation. Don't expect huge performance bonuses for your hard work. Their retirement plan isn't as strong as other corporate companies.
