This hostel is designed to provide solo backpackers a clean, cheap, comfortable, cozy and convenience to stay whilst also getting an opportunity to meet others backpackers around the world.
This hostel is built with a mixed dormitory room and a female dormitory room. Even though all rooms are not in air-conditioner but cooling fan, still ideally and suitable for those backpackers who are preparing for a low budget plan.
Strategically located by Little India, this hostel only 5 minutes away walk from the Medan Kidd Bus Station and 10 minutes away from Ipoh Train Station. Sri Maju Bus station is 15 minutes away from the property. Ipoh's famous old town white coffee Nam Heong restaurant is within the area.
Mineral water, soft drinks and beers are available for sell at the counter while enjoying some TV sitcom at the balcony or the cozy living room.
5 minutes walk from Medan Kidd Bus Station, 8 minutes walk from train station. Great & cheap stopover in Ipoh.

Pros: The best part is definitely the mission. It feels good to know you're helping kids in the community through a valuable non-profit organization. My immediate team in the Denver office was also pretty supportive; we had a solid bond doing our onsite work.
Cons: Honestly, the company culture can feel a bit cliquey. There's not always clear communication from leadership, especially for those of us doing public outreach. It sometimes made strategic planning tough for a Marketing Specialist.
Advice to Management: Try to foster better communication across departments. Break down some of those internal silos to make everyone feel more included, especially staff involved in direct program delivery or community engagement for this non-profit organization.
