Pros: As a Production Engineer, I definitely learned a lot about the hot-dip galvanizing process here. You get really hands-on experience in a real manufacturing plant. It's a solid place to understand heavy industry operations if you're just starting out.
Cons: Career growth for engineering roles can feel slow at this mid-sized company. There isn't much formal career development or clear paths for promotion. Training programs are pretty basic, so you have to mostly learn on your own in our Shah Alam office.
Advice to Management: Management should really invest more in structured training programs and clearer career progression frameworks. This would help retain talent, especially for new engineers in this manufacturing industry.

Pros: Job security is solid here. They've been around forever in the hot-dip galvanizing industry, so I don't really worry about layoffs. It's a consistent onsite role, which is what I need.
Cons: Career growth feels pretty slow for Production Operator roles. The pay and benefits are just okay, nothing special to write home about. Work flexibility isn't really a thing in this industry.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer paths for advancement, even within operations. Maybe look at improving the benefits package slightly to help with retention.
