Okay pay, but benefits could be better

Pros: As a Production Supervisor, the base salary was pretty decent for the manufacturing sector in Penang. We did get an annual bonus, which was a nice extra. It wasn't amazing, but definitely liveable.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, especially for medical coverage. Annual increments are super low, so it's hard to feel any real pay progression. Overtime pay can also be inconsistent for those in the electronic components industry.
Advice to Management: Review the current benefits package, especially healthcare, to be more competitive. Also, consider offering more substantial annual increments for long-term employees to encourage retention. Show more
