Decent Benefits, Pay Could Be Better

Pros: For a Civil Engineer in heavy construction, the base salary is okay, especially for entry-level roles. The company does offer solid medical benefits here in Singapore. You get some pretty good project bonuses if things wrap up on time, which is a nice perk.
Cons: Salary progression for experienced civil engineering roles isn't competitive with other mid-sized corporates. Overtime isn't always compensated fairly, especially on tight infrastructure projects. There's no clear structure for annual raises, so you gotta push for it.
