Career Growth is a Bit Stagnant Here

Pros: I've learned a lot about sustainable agriculture and certification standards. The work as a Sustainability Officer is meaningful if you care about the palm oil industry's impact. It's a very stable government-linked agency in Kuala Lumpur.
Cons: Career growth is pretty slow, honestly. There aren't many opportunities for promotion or advancement within the organization, especially for mid-level roles. You can get stuck in your current position for years without a clear path forward.
Advice to Management: Create clearer pathways for career advancement. Invest in professional development programs for existing staff beyond just basic training. Show more
