Pay is okay, but benefits need work

Pros: The base salary for a Data Engineer in the Kuala Lumpur office isn't bad for a mid-sized tech company. You do get decent medical coverage, which is a big plus here in Malaysia. Pay for entry to mid-level data integration roles is competitive enough.
Cons: But the annual bonuses are pretty small, often inconsistent, and tied to company performance. There aren't many extra perks or a robust retirement plan compared to other IT services firms. Compensation packages for senior roles don't really reflect the market value.
Advice to Management: Please review the compensation structure, especially for senior roles. Improve the benefits package to include better long-term incentives and retirement options to attract and retain top talent in the competitive IT services industry. Show more
