Okay Work-Life, Depends on Your Team
Pros: Work-life balance can be decent if you're lucky with your team. As a Junior Analyst in the Kuala Lumpur office, I found some days were manageable with standard 9-5 hours. The corporate structure means processes are usually clear.
Cons: Other days, especially near deadlines in the financial services industry, you'll be working late. There's an expectation for onsite presence, which can make things tough when traffic is bad. It's not really a work-from-home culture.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more hybrid work options to improve employee well-being and reduce commute stress, especially for those in specific project-based roles. Show more
