Pros: For a startup in the tech industry, the work-life balance here is surprisingly decent. I've mostly worked 40-hour weeks as a Software Engineer, which is a huge plus. The hybrid work model in the Austin, TX office offers good flexibility too.
Cons: It's not always perfect; we do have periods of tight deadlines and sometimes mandatory on-call rotations can interrupt your evenings. This can definitely make work-life balance a struggle for our development teams when things get hectic.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scopes better to avoid last-minute crunch times and consider rotating on-call duties more evenly among development teams.
