Hybrid Model Has Its Ups and Downs
Pros: For some roles, especially back-office, the WFH option is pretty solid. It's nice not commuting to the Manila office every day. They do try with the hybrid model, which is better than full onsite.
Cons: As a Project Engineer, I often had onsite requirements for solar farm development, which meant less flexibility than others. The company can be a bit rigid with schedules for technical roles, even if the work could be done remotely.
Advice to Management: Look into making the hybrid model more consistent across all departments. Some teams get good flexibility, others don't. Maybe review onsite requirements for roles like Project Engineer.
