Cons: The biggest con is how often project deadlines turn into crunch time. As a Software Engineer, I've had many 50+ hour weeks. It really impacts my personal life in Austin, TX during those sprints.
Advice to Management: Please try to set more realistic project timelines, especially for new consumer electronics. It's tough on the engineering team when launches always mean burnout.
