Cons: Work flexibility for a Front Desk Agent can be challenging due to shift scheduling, making personal planning tricky. Some internal approval processes also feel a bit slow and could use streamlining to boost efficiency.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong team culture and explore ways to enhance flexibility for front-line associates, perhaps through more advanced scheduling tools. Look into simplifying some of the administrative approval workflows.

Shift work is tough, but sometimes flexible.
Pros: They're usually pretty good about shift swaps if you plan ahead, which helps for personal appointments. As a Front Desk Agent in the hospitality industry, I found some flexibility for part-time hours if I really pushed for it.
Cons: The hours can be really long, especially during peak seasons or when someone calls out unexpectedly. Weekends and most holidays are mandatory, so don't expect much free time for those big family events in Miami, FL.
Advice to Management: Try to staff better so existing employees aren't constantly picking up extra shifts. Value personal time for your hospitality staff more; burnout is real.

Moxy is Decent, But Don't Expect Quick Growth
Pros: The team culture is really strong, which made onsite work enjoyable. You meet lots of interesting people in the hospitality industry, and it's a generally youthful corporate hotel chain. The discount for Marriott hotels is a nice perk too.
Cons: Don't expect rapid career progression, especially for front-desk roles. There's not much structured training for advancement, and internal promotions are rare. You're mostly stuck doing the same thing unless someone leaves.
