Retail Sales Associate

Scheduling is a real challenge here
Pros: The team environment as a Retail Sales Associate in the Boston, MA store was actually pretty solid. My coworkers made long shifts much more bearable, and you learn customer service fast in the retail industry.
Cons: Work flexibility here is super tough; scheduling is a nightmare. It's almost impossible to get consistent hours or plan anything outside of work. They really don't care about your availability much for retail roles, leading to lots of last-minute changes.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at how shifts are assigned. Giving employees more predictable schedules would really help morale and reduce turnover in the Boston, MA store. Think about your retail associates who have other commitments.

Decent hourly, but benefits are lacking
Pros: The hourly pay as a Retail Associate here is pretty solid. It's a good starting wage for entry-level retail roles. You get consistent hours most weeks, which is nice.
Cons: The benefits package is really minimal, almost non-existent. There's not much room for pay increases, even after a year. Healthcare options for onsite staff aren't great.
Advice to Management: Consider improving the benefits, especially healthcare, for your frontline retail staff. Clearer paths for pay raises would also help with retention.

Operations Coordinator

Pay's Okay, Benefits Are the Real Perk
Pros: The benefits package here is pretty good, honestly. The health insurance, for an Operations Coordinator, was a big relief. It's solid for the retail property management industry.
Cons: The actual take-home pay isn't as competitive, especially living in Boston, MA. Raises were rare, and you really can't count on much in terms of bonuses. It's tough.
Advice to Management: Review the salary bands for all roles, especially for those in high-cost-of-living areas like Boston. Competitive pay would really help with retention.
