Cloudinary's culture: good people, but needs work
Cloudinary's culture has its good points with smart people, but cross-team communication and overall connection could definitely be better.
The people here are genuinely smart and helpful. Working as a Solutions Architect, I've found my immediate team in the digital asset management space really supportive. It's a solid place if you like working with bright minds.
Cross-team communication can be a mess. There are definitely silos, which makes big projects slow. For a big tech company, it feels a little less connected, especially when you're working remote from Texas.
Management should really focus on breaking down those department silos. More effort on company-wide events, even virtual ones, would help remote employees feel more part of the team. We need to boost that overall cohesion in this cloud computing environment.
