Okay Culture, But Client Pressure is Real
Pros: The team culture in the Lisbon office is solid. Everyone helps each other out, which is good for junior consultants. You get hands-on experience quickly within this mid-sized consultancy.
Cons: Client engagement often means working late. Work-life balance is tough due to project demands. It's an onsite work environment mostly, which isn't for everyone.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic client expectations. More focus on employee well-being would really help reduce burnout.

Pay's okay, but benefits could really improve.
Pros: The base salary for a Junior Consultant in management consulting isn't terrible to start. You do get the basics covered like health insurance. It's a solid entry into the consulting industry here in Lisbon.
Cons: Raises are pretty small and don't keep up with inflation or market rates. There aren't many extra perks or employee benefits beyond the absolute minimum. Total compensation isn't very competitive, especially when you consider the hours.
Advice to Management: Look at the current market rates for consulting roles and improve the overall employee benefits package. Better dental or retirement contributions would make a big difference for staff retention.

Pay's Okay, But Don't Expect Big Bucks Here
Pros: You do get a stable paycheck, and benefits like health insurance are decent. For someone just starting as a Project Analyst, the job security is pretty solid in the Lisbon office. It's a stable place to get some initial experience in project management.
Cons: The salary for project management roles isn't very competitive when you compare it to other consulting firms. Raises are pretty slow, and it's tough to get significant performance bonuses here. Pay and benefits could definitely be better.
Advice to Management: You really need to re-evaluate the compensation structure, especially for Project Analyst and other entry-level consulting roles. Investing more in competitive salaries and clearer paths for raises would help retain talent.

Okay Place, But Culture Needs Work
Pros: The teams are generally supportive, especially as a new Consultant. We had some decent team events in the Lisbon office, which was nice. It's a pretty collaborative environment for entry-level consulting roles.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit cliquey at times. There's not always a clear path for advancement if you're not in the 'in' crowd. Management could do more to foster inclusion across all departments.
Advice to Management: Work on breaking down silos between teams. A more inclusive culture would benefit everyone. Also, ensure career development paths are transparent for all employees.
