Position Summary
Reporting tothe HR Manager, the Clerk will compile andmaintainpersonnel records and perform duties relating to supporting the employees.
The ideal candidate will be organized,detail orientedand have basic computer skills and knowledge.
PositionResponsibilities
- Updates andmonitorsHuman Resource Information System and Applicant Tracking System.
- Be the first point of contact with employeesentering the HR office.
- Assist HR Specialist and HR Manager in tasks as needed.
- Processes employment applications.
- Arranges and conducts screening interviews.
- Organizes and conducts pre-employment tasks (background checks, I9’s, drug screens, employment verifications, etc.).
- Schedules and conducts new-hire orientations.
- Maintains employee records, filing, and documentationin accordance withState,Federaland local regulations.
- Creates badges for employees to access building and timeclock.
- Communicates and tracks employee call-ins.
- Tracks, reports, and communicates COVID cases and symptoms according to CDC, New Mexico, and Olam guidelines.
- Provides effective employee support and employee relations whilemaintaininga high levelof confidentiality and professionalism.
- Reports all employee conflictsimmediatelytoHRManager.
- Delivers effective employee communication with relation to companyhandbookand policies.
- Assistemployees with ADPaccountand enrollments.
- Assistswith employeebenefitsexplanations and orientations.
- Assistswith explaining and enforcing company policies.
- Conducts verification of employment forms.
- Complies withall general company policies and procedures, including all safety requirements.
- Supports general good housekeeping.
- Coordinates and order office supplies.
- If bilingual,providestranslation services for Manager, Supervisors and Crew Leads as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Must have experience with MS products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to send simple communications via emails and memos.
- Must be able to speak with others individually and in a public forum using technology.
- Be able to work shifts that support the department’s business hours.
- Alwayscomply withsafety policies and procedures such as wearing PPE whereappropriate.
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
