Pros: The base pay for my Junior Software Engineer role was pretty fair, especially considering I was new to the IT industry. I got my salary on time, which is always good. Standard EPF contributions were reliable.
Cons: The benefits package felt a bit basic, honestly. There weren't many perks beyond the usual, which isn't great for retaining talent in software development. No real health insurance beyond basic, and very limited professional development budget.
Advice to Management: Review your benefits package to be more competitive for software development roles. Better health coverage and training budgets would help a lot.
