Pros: My direct manager was decent, always ready to help with complex client accounts. The team environment for our bookkeeping services was pretty collaborative, especially for a smaller accounting firm. They offered solid training for new financial reporting software.
Cons: Upper management often seemed out of touch with our daily accounting operations. There wasn't much clear direction for career growth as a Senior Bookkeeper, which felt frustrating. Decisions felt top-down, not much room for our input on processes for clients in Singapore.
Advice to Management: Listen more to the ground-level teams. Get a better understanding of the day-to-day challenges in client accounts and provide clearer paths for advancement.
