Pros: You get to work on a decent variety of design projects. There's a chance to learn if you're proactive, especially if you show initiative. For a mid-sized design firm, the team itself is generally supportive.
Cons: Leadership can be a bit hands-off until a crisis hits, then it's micromanagement time. There isn't always clear direction for new client pitches. Communication from the top down in the Kuala Lumpur office can be pretty inconsistent.
Advice to Management: Try to be more consistent with feedback and direction, especially for smaller design projects. Trust your team more and avoid jumping straight to micromanagement when things get tough. Invest in clearer project management training for leaders.
